Chapter 84. Turning Time
The driver stepped out and opened the door of the Limo. Lucas emits a sigh. He doesn’t know what to expect inside Zuka’s mansion. Whatever Zuka’s game will be, he better be ready to play hard.
He glanced at Jane. “Let’s do this,” he said.
They both climbed down staring around the old brick mansion. The streets were shrouded in darkness except for the brick mansion. Vampires enjoy being around the darkness. That’s how they prefer to roll and lurk.
A few lamps hung from an iron pole. This was the only source of light that stood like an usher outside the gate. It was quite an old-style mansion.
The driver led Lucas and Jane to the door. He rapped the iron knocker with the shape of a woman. Lucas and Jane patiently stood behind him. They were still staring around. The place was so strange to them.
They didn’t have to wait too long as the door was soon answered by an old man with gray hai
