Daniel’s POV
“Daniel,” her shaky voice as she yelled my name after me still echoed in my ear as I laid on the bed.
I felt like such a douchebag. At Least I should’ve given her more reassurances instead of leaving her in such a state.
Since I got back seething from what Gabriel had done and guilty from abandoning Cassandra on the road like that, I have felt restless. I wanted to punch Gabriel in his face for what he did. I wanted to give Liam a blinding slap and challenge Samantha to another duel where I’ll beat the trap out of her. And most of all, I wanted to run to Cassandra and apologize to her. I wanted to crush her against me and assure her that everything will be fine
And if I could undo it, if I had the power, if there were some kind of magic, I would undo the stupid revenge fight Gabriel had gone on, bring back the lives of those poor pups and werewolves.
