Marco felt the cold take over his soul as he reassured himself that he was a warrior from a long line of warriors, his ancestors, and he knew how often battles were fought when men were more brutal than monsters. A sword is enough for the throat that seeks what is beyond the realm of the seekers. If a man dare fall in the line of battle, he must lead the mercenaries with his sword drawn from behind his waist.

Marco stretched out as he repeated the words in his head over and over again as if forgetting any piece of it could lead to his eternal conclusion.
