His keen ears caught the growling from miles away. The sound was almost deafening, and he had little time to destroy all of it. But no matter what, he had to make it look like an accident. If it did not, Keme would see this as treason on Dracula’s part. Keme always looked to him as an ally, and mostly Dracula remained neutral. But if Keme wished to rally witches, weres, and gods to end the vampire race, he could no longer remain a neutral party.
