Marcus’s POV

Two Days Later

The last person I had hoped to find in front of my door after what happened at Amelia’s office was Nolan. He looked like a mess and seemed to be uncomfortable as he took a seat in my living room.

“How did you get my address?” I asked and he stared at me for a few seconds as if I had not just asked a question.

“I need your help.” He replied, his tone laced with urgency.

“That was not the question Nolan. You might be my boss at work but I am a very professional person and I do not…”
