Chapter 19. He Saved Me

Amelia’s POV

I was consumed by a sense of desperation, my pleas for mercy becoming more fervent as the seconds ticked by. My life was on the line, and I knew it.

“I said sign.” He pushed my head with the gun and with a trembling body, I reached out and grabbed the pen.

Just when I was about to press the tip on the paper, a dark thought popped into my mind. It all happened way too fast, the next thing I knew, I had buried the tip of the pen into his arm and his loud screams filled my head.

“Stupid bitch.” He cursed and was about to pull the trigger when someone stepped out from the shadows and pushed him away from me.

I could barely make out what was going on since everything was just happening with such speed that was impossible for me to keep up with.
