Amelia’s POV

For the past few days, Marcus had been unusually quiet and it was only Sophie that kept us awake at nights but for some reason, I felt I needed to figure out why Marcus was silent or else…things might spring up on us. So I asked Nolan to look into what he was doing because I knew his family was no longer in the country, so it made no sense that he was still sticking around.

“I heard he is moving with Sophie now, his family has businesses with them so I am not surprised but what is getting me worried is that he should have no clue that she is here unless… maybe she reached out to him or he reached out to her. I have no clue who reached out to who.” Nolan said to me as we took our seat in my living room.
