Chapter 9. Whipped Penalty

A boisterous moan echoed in the entire room where Kylian stayed at the moment. He kneeled on the floor, closed his eyes, and shouted in tremendous pain every time Rendall, his father, hit his back. That flagellation almost made him think he would be unconscious from the punishment he never thought would be imposed. In his mind, he had already cursed his father. However, he could not voice it out to prevent the whole-day whipping.

“You deserve this, Kylian. Never tell me to stop,” Rendall said and whipped his back again. “Your foolish actions of going out should never be tolerated.”
