Never in my life had I felt such fear. Noah lay on the hospital bed, pale and motionless, and suddenly I felt his body seem so frail.

My Noah always seemed lively, passionate, healthy, and optimistic. He never displayed excessive emotion, was good at navigating situations, and was in control.

His profession as a lawyer had trained Noah to be his true self, a man of good character and a true gentleman.

He was my late grandfather’s favorite son, a beloved brother, a beloved uncle, and a respected colleague.

Noah was usually healthy. He always took good care of his health. No matter how busy he was, he always made time to exercise, even if it was just a jog around our very spacious yard or a leisurely swim in the pool in the backyard.
