Chapter 11. Swirls (2024 BC)
Swirls of sand formed around some of the tents in the desert, while thunder and lightning cut through the sky. It was only ten o'clock in the morning, but it felt like night, and men dressed in leather clothes that looked like armor, with gold rings hanging from their ears and noses, were running around trying to round up the animals to take them to the fortified city, in the hope that there, the storm that was brewing wouldn't cause any damage.
One of them stood out because he was the only one not wearing those rings. On his head he wore a circle with three loops and on his arm he wore a bracelet with three loops, both made of gold. The three loops were a symbol that he was the third king in his line. He was also the only one who didn't run. He watched the approaching whirlwinds with a worried expression. He looked up at the sky and fire was coming down in the form of small raindrops. He looked to the side and grabbed one of the men who was running disoriented
