Chapter 13. The Birth of Gods
The young Yuki was brought to him in his tent later that night, but Hektor didn't take her as his wife, he wanted to marry her first and have the blessings of his gods. Hektor gathered up his entire caravan and set off back to his homeland.
Along the way, he got to know Yuki. She was a silent woman, who didn't make a sound even when she walked. He only knew she was approaching by the slight, discreet rustling of her clothes in the wind. He learned to love that noise and even yearn for it. She spoke very little, but every word that came from her lips seemed designed to seduce, and on the way home, he performed a brief ceremony and took her as his wife before arriving at her house.
She talked to him through her eyes. He didn't need to say anything for them to understand. It was something he hadn't shared with any of his other wives. There was a strong connection between them. And it was with few words that they had lived happily, without disagreements,
