Chapter 9. The Meeting
Adam went to the supermarket where Giovanna worked every day, asking her where she was living. He never found out. She had rented a room from a lady nearby and wouldn't go there until he gave up chasing her and left. She didn't talk to anyone about it. She had no friends and her cold, indifferent stare alienated all the other supermarket employees.
After three months, she discovered that Adam's abuse had left a memory in her womb. She was pregnant. She could no longer make do with that small room. The child would need more space. So she rented a house, furnished it with her savings and was satisfied with what she had achieved. It was little, but it was hers.
Adam didn't stop chasing her, and when he noticed her growing belly, he stared at her with a debauched look.
"If you want to keep my child, you'll have to pay me an allowance. The little I earn barely pays my bills." He said, wondering what that child would be. Werewolf or wit
