Chapter 25. The Surprise Visit
Brendon woke up the next morning and went into the kitchen to make himself a cup of coffee. While he waited for the coffee maker to do its job, he thought about it. He had completely forgotten about his appointment with his father, but that could be rectified next month. As far as he knew, the full moons never stopped shining in the sky.
Since he wasn't willing to visit Olav to talk to him and Ivan, he wondered if it was too early to go to the asylum.
He looked at the watch on his wrist and saw that it was already eight o'clock. By the time he had showered and got ready and arrived at the nursing home, it would be 10 o'clock. It was a good time for an unexpected visit.
He sipped his coffee slowly, walking around the apartment and checking if his ferns needed any more water, but they didn't seem to. He had to remember to praise the excellent work of the lady who looked after the house.
