Chapter 7. Shopping

Giovanna was asked to sit down by Theo and once she was in her seat, the awkward silence continued.

"Please... Keep talking. Don't stop because of me. This is too..." Giovanna said and stood up. "I can have lunch in the kitchen if that will make you more comfortable."

Gaia looked at the two men and approached Giovanna.

"I'm sorry. You weren't expected, not for today and that changed our plans... Jensen is my boyfriend Beta and we're happy to have you here, but the house is yours. We don't live here, which is a strong reason for you not to go. We're just... Surprised, because all the plans for another two years have now become urgent... And we were talking about it when you arrived."

"Were you already planning to pick me up when I turned eighteen?"

"Yes. Your protector wouldn't allow me to take you away before then."

"Isn't Theo his leader too?"
