For a heartbeat the dining room went silent, so silent I could hear the sounds of crickets outside. Then the table screeched as Kai shot to his feet, his chair toppling over. I barely had enough time to process the information when he scooped me out of the chair as if I weighed nothing.
"You're pregnant," he breathed in a low voice, his eyes blazing. "Our pups," he twirled me around, the world blurring before me in the dizzy spinning.
"Goddess," Ronan's wolf aura exploded as he growled, a sound that should have sent warmth emanating from my body. He joined, his arms sliding around me, both men embracing me. They were laughing, boyish bursts that cracked in the room.
"Our little mouse is carrying our heirs," Ronan murmured against my hair, his voice breaking.
