Caius’s POV

“Because we are finally alone, princess.” As I moved around the table and inched my big, strong body closer to hers, my voice came out in smooth, velvety waves. Our faces were only a few inches apart. My piercing blue eyes looked right into her lavender-blue eyes, making her feel both scared and excited. I would never get tired of how I made this strong she-wolf feel.

She didn’t know what I was up to, but she knew to be careful around me. “And what do you want to do with me now that we’re all alone?” Elise asked, trying to hide her fear by crossing her arms over her tight black shirt.

I hummed when her breast went up because of the gesture, but I quickly turned my attention back to her eyes. “Oh, don’t think I’ve forgotten what you did to me earlier or the many secrets you’re keeping.”
