Chapter 112. Why Indeed
Fiona listened as the Leopard Seal walked off and out of the room. She heard the bedroom door close softly. She waited for a little while before pulling the bathroom door open. There was no one in the room, just as she had suspected. She returned to her bed, plopped into it, stretched out her arms and legs, and puffed out a breath of air.
This whole place was twisted. First, the doctor had used the guise of psychological care to tell her that she had to help another guy who was pretty much as bad as her father. And she would not just be helping this bad guy who happened to also be her kidnapper, but she would be sacrificing her father to do that.
Now, the kidnapper himself had just come to tell her that he was not sorry for being a kidnapper or for being a murderer. But he was sorry for not seeking consent from her. It just showed how twisted this environment was and how badly it was affecting her, seeing that she was seeing his gesture as such an attractive thing.
