Chapter 75. The 20th Anniversary
The day Carlos had been waiting for came as though it wanted to sneak up on him. With all the planning and preparations, he thought the day would come with lots of fanfare and omens, but it began in the same routine as many other days before it.
To millions of other people in New York City, it was just another day. To a select few, it was twenty years since their loved ones were snatched from them. The select few were the ones who remained—the ones who refused to let it go because the deaths were too painful and had too many suspicious events surrounding them.
