Chapter 6

Before she could answer, the call ended.

“That was kinda rude of my dad. He wants me over for dinner at 5,” she said, shoving her phone back on the table.

“Love, what did you do now again?” Kai burst out laughing, taking a pillow to throw at Chloe’s head. She got her shoes on to head home. She was meeting Min later that night for dinner at a restaurant; leaving Chloe now would not make her late. The girls were like zombies.

Greeting each other at the door with kisses on each cheek, they waved goodbye. Chloe walked in and lifted Minu. She heard her purr and gave a kiss on the head.

Kicking the door open to go shower, she noticed her house was a mess. But who cared? This was her space.

She washed her hair and used some shower gel, and it was all clean. She hopped out and started to sing with the music on her phone, adding some eyeliner and nothing more. She blew her hair and brought it into a tight ponytail.
