“Okay, bye, brother.” Silver smiled at her brother. He entered the coach with Scott and waved at her.

“Don’t be too long in coming back home. I can’t leave you with that bastard knowing how he is,” Vincent said, waving back at her.

“He is a true bastard,” Scott commented.

“You heard that.” Vincent smiled at her. “Generals are true discerners of characters.”

“I heard you both, brothers. I will come home soon.”

Scott nodded. “Good. Even if your lover boy refuses to mate with you.”

Silver blushed. “Who told you that?” She hadn’t discussed Jason with her brother, as what they had spoken about was her findings about where they hid and her pleading with her brother not to wage war yet on the pack as it was home to the man she was in love with. She urged Vincent to wait for her to convince Jason after she succeeded in making him fall for her, and then they can both influence Nate.
