Vincent held back tears as he looked at his sister. She looked so beautiful it killed him to think of what he was doing to her. It was for the greater good of the pack, he thought and squared his shoulders. Moreover, with the attitude of the alpha of the other pack, he knew he might not be interested in his sister, and she would get back to him without being mated.
His only fear was that she didn’t lose her head in the course of snooping on the pack and their lair as he had instructed her to do. The alpha of the pack he was sending her to seemed like a man who would act before asking questions, and it scared him as he thought more of Silver going there. He looked at Mary by her side, supervising the loads they had to take along with them as the men loaded the carriage, and felt his heart a bit at ease. Mary would make sure no harm came to Silver.
He also knew why he was sending her to the pack, and the reason was more convincing in his heart as he looked at the beautiful
