Chapter 31
Noella’s POV
I don’t know, but I felt some sting in my heart, which prompted me to smile as soon as I saw Aragon coming in through the wooden door.
“Did I keep you waiting?” He pulled the rough wooden table closer to me while I sat upright, and he began spreading the meal he had brought on the table.
I salivate.
“Not really.” I smiled.
“What’s happening there? Is the search still ongoing?” It’s been a few days, and yet I have not gotten a good response from him.
I can’t hide for long, and it’s not right to put him in this situation. I also missed Austin.
“Does he miss me too?” I sighed. I couldn’t believe my thoughts right now. If only he thought about me, he would have stopped the search and sorted for me instead.
I’m the only foolish lover here.
I didn’t realize I had been holding the spoon up to my mouth for almost two minutes. Aragon cleared his throat loudly, and I shivered in shock.
“Are you alright?” he asked.
