I stood there, my head spinning. “You lied to me about Giveon cheating on me with you because you wanted to do what? Break us up?”

She was no longer sobbing, but her face was stained with tears as she sat on the floor, behind the door. She finally looked up at me and shrugged. “You two wouldn’t have broken up otherwise. He’s in love with you, I guess I wasn’t enough.”

But he pursued me! He abandoned me and said he wanted to work on himself. And all for what? For him to fall in love with you a few weeks later?” She scoffed, shaking her head in disbelief.
