Chapter 62. His Earlobe

I opened my mouth to speak but then I felt a wave of guilt. Telling his father’s business in front of his friends didn’t seem like the right thing to do, so I closed my mouth.

“Are you going to speak or is this just a cry for attention?” Maddie asked, and they snickered. Everyone but Giveon.

“Sara, what are you doing?” He said to me in a breathy way after leaning close to me for a quick second. 

“I—“ I said to him, but then looked back at the Alpha, his arms still folded on his broad chest, a small smirk on his face as if he was mocking me, but I could see the nervousness behind his eyes. “Your father lied. He’s the one responsible for the death of my parents. He didn’t only kill the Queen of a witch town after stealing their land, he killed a soldier of his own pack.”

It went quiet and everyone stared at the alpha, waiting for a response. He seemed taken aback, but at the same time, he didn’t look too shocked; it was like he kind of knew this already.
