Chapter 73. My Boyfriend

After an evening of perfection and beauty, I found myself in the car seat of Giveon’s car, being driven home.

I felt incredible. I felt happy for once, and that everything was finally okay. My head was leaning on the rolled up window as I stared outside.

When we reached back at his place, he parked and then I sat up upright, unbuckling my seatbelt and then opening the door after he killed the car engine. 

I stepped out and the cold air of the night licked my skin, causing goosebumps to rise. I hugged myself and waited for my boyfriend to get out of the car before we started heading for the front porch.

My boyfriend. I never thought I would be able to say something like that. After my rejection last year, I had made peace with the fact that love was not for me.

I had made peace with the fact that I was going to be alone for the rest of my life. 

But I guess fate had different plans for me. And I kind of liked it. Yeah, I was still kind of scared
