My heart was thumping in my chest and it looked like Giveon was about to go off in the waiter. He already had a tight frown and his jaw was clenched.

“What do you mean?” I asked him, my voice a bit in my throat because I was nervous. I didn’t know if he meant good or not. So yeah.

The guy chuckled. “Are you from here?” He asked again. “Everyone is talking about you, and I don’t think we’ve seen you in the city before. You’re stunning.” He smiled, his face getting red due to him being flustered.

I was taken aback by this. Maybe because I was used to being bullied and looked down on, so I just thought that this may have been what was happening. 

“I—I don’t know what to say,” I replied, chuckling as I felt heat rise to my face. I glanced at Giveon and he seemed to relax too. “Thank you so much.” I flashed him a warm smile and placed my hands on my chest as a gesture.
