Chapter 79. My First Date

John was the owner of the nightclub. The mention of his name had my heart dropping to my stomach. Why did he want to see me?

I wanted to ask Kevin, but he had already explained that he had no idea, and that I shouldn’t worry because he already took care of the whole situation of me having to work there.

I hated that place, and I only worked there because I was desperate. But I hated being half naked in front of so many people as they did some really weird sh*t.

“Again, you look good.” Kevin’s voice pulled me out of my thoughts and I was back in reality again.

“Thank you,” I replied in a monotone. Then I walked by him before walking down the stairs. When I was at the bottom, I made my way to the front door as I continued to try to figure out in my head why John wanted to see me.

But I was going to meet him maybe after my date with Giveon. Gosh, I wish that Kevin had closed his mouth and had not told me a thing because now I couldn’t stop thinking about it.
