My heart was pounding and my breath was coming out in a shaky way. I continued to look at her, our eyes locking.
Her smirk soon changed to more of a smile of pity. “Say something, Sara,” she said, her eyes getting a bit glossy.
I scoffed faintly, taking a step back from her. “Are you seriously telling me that?”
“Sara…”
“No! Don’t say my name!” I replied without missing a beat. “You have been inside of me this whole time and you couldn’t say a damn word?” I could feel tears filling my eyes, and adrenaline was rushing through me. “All this time, you could have said something. You could have saved me from being bullied and called broken. You could have saved me from being depressed and hating myself. But you chose to say or do nothing.” I shook my head as the tears that had filled my eyes fell down my face.
