Chapter 82. Sneaking Out
A few people would stare at us but it wouldn’t last, of course. My hand was in Giveon’s and I had no idea where we were going, but I trusted him.
The sun was already dipping in the sky a bit now, and it was getting a bit colder. But I didn’t be to worry about the cold because I was wearing his coat already, since my dress was kind of sleeveless.
He had a long sleeve white shirt that had been under his coat, so I don’t think he was affected by how cold it was getting.
“How was it?” He asked me, a smile on his face as he stared at me, waiting for my response.
I smiled back, my heart fluttering. “It was perfect,” I replied to him and he nodded.
“Yeah,” he said in a breathy way as he looked away. “It was.”
We stopped not far from the zebra walk and the car that had brought us soon pulled up. We got inside and started to head out of the city.
