Chapter 84. The Talk

I continued to walk, heading back to the mansion. The street light was enough to light up everywhere. But the moon was nowhere to be found, probably hiding behind the thick white clouds that were forming. 

I think it was going to rain, so I really needed to hurry and get back home. 

The thought of confronting or talking to Maddie had my heart thundering in my chest. My nerves were getting worse with each step that I took. But it was best to have this talk with the girl once and for all, or it was going to eat me up from the inside every single day.
