What the heck was happening?

Did I say something wrong? Do something? Because as far as I could tell, Sapphire was upset and that was not on the plans for today. I just did not want to talk about Jesse who did not even know that I was out on a date—lately, she barely was interested in whatever I did and I figured that was cool.

I was not just doing this whole outing because I earned a date with Sapphire, but because I genuinely wanted us to get to know each other. Of course, I could easily have bailed out after the whole event if it was an ego fight or publicity scheme.

But this was me trying to know this woman who had succeeded to enthrall me. I wanted to know her, pieces of her, and everything there was to her existence. Most of it all, I wanted to make it up to her and see her smile because it was easily the most fucking beautiful thing that could ever be seen.

However, the plans are not really what we expected because she was out
