Still the Same
“Ian.” My voice was full of fear. The lights flickered and I saw Ian on the couch. His tie in his hands, his shirt ruffled and his face angry.
Holy fuck. I was dead. I knew Ian well enough, even though we hadn’t seen each other in five years. The lock of his jaw and the cold smirk on his face told me how angry he was with me.
“I thought I told you to be here by six.”
I narrowed my eyes at him. “And I told you that I will do whatever the hell I want. I’m not yours.”
Ian got off the couch slowly and walked towards me, a predator-like stance. I backed off, until I was cornered by the wall. How cliché.
“That’s where you’re wrong sweetheart,” Ian smirked. “You were mine. And you are mine.”
