I looked at him in disbelief, and he simply stared back at me. He was serious about this.
“Excuse me?”
“You can drop the act, sweetie. You pretended to be a saint and give people moral advice, yet you were the one who is a traitor- a fucking hypocrite.”
He then threw the brown file on the table right in front of me, and when I opened it to see what it was…it was the contract that Ben and I had signed.
