Chapter 21. Feel Alike
ERVIN’S POV
“… so you’ll have to sign here and here,” the man sitting opposite me in front of my desk said.
“Just drop it. I would go through it myself and get back to you,” I said, running my hands through my hair.
“Are you okay, sir?” He looked at me with concern.
“I am fine. I’ll sign it when I’m done with the few documents on my desk.”
“Uh… few?” The man muttered, staring at my table. “You call that few?”
Indeed, my table was filled with different files and documents involving pack duties that had to do with the infirmary, among others. I was yet to attend to any of them. If the man made the mistake of putting the file wrongly, the whole tower of files would tumble down, so I took it from his hands.
“You can leave now,” I spoke sternly. The man wanted to argue, but with the look on my face, he knew it would be best not to.
“Alright, sir,” he said, standing up. After bowing slightly in respect, he exited my office.
