HAZEL’S POV

Unfortunately, she was not responding. It dawned on me that I had never been taught how to transform. I never knew how to. Even though I had read about it, I could not remember now.

My father's laughter taunted me.

“I do not know how to transform,” I said opening my eyes.

He laughed again bending over as though I had said something hilarious.

“Teach me, father. I need to show you.” I continued ignoring his laughter.

“Pumpkin. You need to get over Ervin. You’re being outright delusional right now. The man has already moved on. He did not put up as much as a solid argument to get you back!”

“Because he is a very stupid noble bastard to a fault. His respect for you is way too much. He did not want to defy you.” I countered.

“Well….. his respect is more than the love he has for you. How sad.” My dad taunted.
