Chapter 5. Agreement

ERVIN’S POV

The pirate king and I had successfully agreed. The ceremony was over, and I was just on my way out to my pack to ensure power did not fall into the wrong hands. Taking one last look at the trucks filled with weapons, I nodded at one of the guards. He closed it, and I climbed into the passenger seat, signaling the driver to move. The pirate king was kind enough to aid me with people who would ensure that I reached safely with everything he aided me with. We had just headed past the Silver Moon pack gates heading into the forest, down the paths that would lead me home. What I did not expect to see was a blonde-haired girl jumping in front of the moving truck.

“Stop!” I yelled at the driver as my hands instinctively reached out forward. “What the hell!” I mumbled in relief as the truck came to a halt inches before the girl.
