Chapter 33
Eros took a sip from his cup of coffee as he watched Asher from across the room. It was 8:00 AM in the morning; Aria had left earlier than he had expected for work, leaving him with enough time to track Asher.
It was time to make his first move to understand the man personally. If he was going to make this work, he would have to do a lot more work on Asher compared to Aria, judging from what he knew already, but anything could happen; he’d seen it several times before.
“Do you need anything else to go with your coffee?”
Eros looked up to see the waitress smiling a little too hard at him. Frankly, he was tired of being gazed at everywhere he went, but he knew there was nothing he could do about it, which was all the more reason he wanted to leave for Olympus as fast as he could.
“I’ll have just the coffee, thank you,” Eros replied with a curt nod as he handed her a ten-dollar bill as a tip, signaling the end of the conversation.
