Chapter 158. Dominance

I was now in the elevator, being taken to the tenth floor. The ride was smooth and I was focused; focused on mentally preparing myself for meeting the guy. Should I be formal? Or should I just be casual? 

Those were the questions that were running through my head. But there were a few more who were making overthinking. Ones like, will he be able to help me, or would he drop the case? 

The elevator made a sharp noise as it came to a stop, the automated doors opening. I walked out and down the hallway. I was slow while running because I kept looking at each door, trying to find Mike’s name on any of them. 

This took me a solid minute but I finally found the office. Gosh, there were a lot of them here. This place was huge. I stood in front of the door that had Mike’s name on it. I knocked a couple of times and then heard someone say from inside, “Come in!”
