Chapter 256. Reporting Him?

I pushed open the exit door and stepped into the cool evening air, my thoughts racing. The idea of turning Josh in, of going through with the plan Mark and I discussed, seemed like the only logical step now. But my heart was tangled in knots. 

I needed to think this through, I knew this, but at the same time, I had just watched Josh agree to commit a crime right in front of me. Despite my attempts to get him to hear me out, none of them worked. 

It was clear that he had made his decision and was going to go through with it whether I liked it or not. 

I stood next to the wall, fishing out my phone form my pocket, my fingers trembling as I scrolled through my contacts. Mark’s name appeared on the screen. I knew that Josh had been tapping my phone, he had confessed to it, but at this point did I care if he listened to me report him to the police?
