Chapter 49. Addictive

He closed the distance between us and reached for my face but I flinched away. “Don’t be afraid of me, Lisa.” He smiled, a dangerous look dancing in his eyes. “I told you, you’re my soulmate, and nothing can change that.” 

I kept my eyes on his and for a moment, it seemed like I was lost in a whole new world. I felt this pull to him and before I knew it, I was taking a step closer to him. He seemed pleased that I was doing this.
