“I think she’s remembering now,” The doctor said, flashing a small sympathetic smile. She looked at the CEO and said, “Sometimes when we go through very traumatic moments or events, our brain would go into survival mode and block us from remembering what had happened due to our heightened stress.”
Bradley nodded. “I understand. Thank you, doctor.” He smiled back. But before she could walk away, he stopped her by asking, “She’s going to be just fine, right?”
The woman glanced at me before looking back at the CEO. “Physically, she’s doing great. But mentally and emotionally, I’d recommend she get a therapist.”
