The very thought had a shiver running down my spine.
“If you would just listen to me,” He began. “Just let me explain. I promise you that I will tell you everything, the whole truth.” He seemed nervous.
I scoffed faintly. “So there’s more lies?” I asked, my voice surprisingly calm. “Josh, are there more lies?”
He inhaled shapely before letting it out slowly. “Just follow me,” He said before turning away and walking.
For a few seconds, I just stood there looking at him, but my intrigue won. I wanted to know. I wanted to know what else he had lied to me about and also why he had even been lying.
