Chapter 20

It was the dawn of a new day, and the chirping sounds coupled with the loud noise from cars. Diana rose from the bed and stared around for a while before she finally rose to go get her bath. She fixed her gaze on where she was headed and suddenly noticed something weird.

“Am I dreaming or perhaps hallucinating?” She asked herself as she ogled at the wall clock. It read 6 PM, but the weather around her said something entirely different. She was confused.

She grabbed her phone from her bed and unlocked it almost immediately. It read the same as the wall clock, and it was at that moment reality dawned on her that she had been deceived by the bright weather. She laid a hand on her head as she yawned. Her stomach gave a fierce rumbling sound that immediately told her it needed food urgently.

She walked right into the kitchen, even though she knew she had nothing prepared. She was somehow hoping that a meal would appear in her p*t just the way she saw it in fairytales. H
