Chapter 31
The entire place was as quiet as a graveyard for the entire moment Ralph spoke. They couldn’t bring themselves to stare him right in the eyes if they truly had the urge to live much longer than they already did. Ralph’s anger mounted with reckless abandon when he got no response of any sort from them.
Slamming his hand against the table in front of him, he asked, “Are you deaf, or you didn’t hear my question?” His thunderous voice echoed through the place at once as he reached for a revolver tucked nicely and neatly into his belt. His physique was domineering and sent shivers down their spines at once. Never in their lives had they come across someone as daunting as that, and one thing they couldn’t do was hide the fact that they were surprised.
