DAHLIA
Izzy arched her brow, leaning against the counter with her mug in hand. “End of semester party,” she announced dramatically, like it was breaking news.
I blinked. “What about it?”
“What about it?” she echoed in disbelief. “It’s this Friday, Dahlia! Everyone’s talking about it. The theme, the outfits, the dates…”
“Oh, God,” I muttered, rubbing my temple. “Not this again.”
“Yes, this again.” She grinned mischievously. “So, who’s it gonna be? Who’s your date?”
I scoffed. “I don’t have anybody yet.”
Izzy gasped as though I’d confessed to a crime. “What do you mean you don’t have anybody yet? Dahlia, half the guys in your department would sell their souls to show up with you! Not to talk of your two big shots.”
I rolled my eyes, heading toward my wardrobe. “That’s dramatic.”
“True,” she admitted, following me, “but also not wrong. So, are we talking Sebastian, then?”
