Chapter 10
Scarlet followed Sebastian outside while she held onto the quilt tightly. She didn’t say a word and walked silently behind him. When he turned around and made a gesture to scold him, she stepped back because of fear. For the first time, she was terrified of him. His eyes dramatically looked different when he was furious, and she bit her bottom lip while trying to think of ways to calm him down.
He was the one to open the door, and he also entered first. When he closed the door behind him, tension suddenly rose into the air. “Put on something decent then we will talk,” he ordered.
“How can I change when you’re here?”
“Stop this nonsense immediately, Scarlet! You almost get ravished and killed because of your stubbornness! Did I tell you to settle here, take a rest, read a book or whatever you wanted to do? My instructions were clear, weren’t they?”
Scarlet tightened her lips and reminded herself not to say anything that would worsen the situat
