Chapter 11
For almost an hour, Sebastian paced back and forth in his huge bedroom. Occasionally, he would stare at the golden coffin beside the four poster bed. Sometimes, he would love to be on his bed, but he preferred to be in the coffin. As he opened the lid of the coffin, Caleb suddenly appeared in front of him. He acted as if Caleb’s presence didn’t mean a thing, but somehow, his heart almost skipped a beat because of anger. He wanted to sink his fang into his neck and suck all of his blood. Suddenly, Caleb kneeled before him.
“I’m sorry, Seb. I didn’t want to frighten her,” he apologized while explaining the reasons why he almost hurt the woman earlier.
“She’s not scared, Caleb. You can stand up now and tell me your observation about her. Oh by the way, I forgot to tell you that she is Lockwood’s daughter, and her name is Scarlet Morgan.”
