Chapter 12
The drive to Mt. Hood was beautiful that she found herself not able to put down her camera for longer than a minute.
“Wait! Could you stop here for a while?” Zayla even found herself asking Kayden if he could park somewhere while she clicks nonstop, occasionally bringing her head out the window to better angle her camera.
“Sure.” Kayden ended up feeling more fond of her the more he stopped. Her eyes shine brighter with every sound of the shutter, signaling a new photo added to Zayla’s personal collection of photographs.
“I need a subject for this,” Zayla said at one of their stops. Kayden had both their windows down currently, his elbow perched on the window and his finger on his lips. He then stared at Zayla in question.
“Model?” He asked, surprise evident in his voice after Zayla clicked her camera with Kayden as the foreground scenery and an almost perfectly shaped mountain behind him.
“Sorry, the mountain itself was a bit boring.” Zayla giggled at h
