Early the next day, Kayden had his pack gather in the village square.

“Jackson Hipple,” He said, loud and clear as his pack stood around him. This caused the murmurs to die down as every wolf and pup was now looking at their alpha in complete silence. “He’s no ordinary rogue.” Kayden continued as his eyes met Gunner and Ryder’s.

“How so, alpha?” The gamma, Ryder, asked out loud. He would’ve preferred to talk via their mind link but he knew that this matter needed to be discussed with the whole pack. And although they can all easily connect their minds and talk to the whole pack, voicing it out loud makes it easier to let everyone know of the real weight the problems hold over their heads.

“Unlike other rogues who never come back after finding out that pack already owns a land, he returned.” Kayden said, slowly waking around and staring at each and every one of his people.
