Chapter 24

Zayla was about to go for the door leading out of Kayden’s house but she instantly made a turn instead at his bedroom and locked herself in.

“You’re so stupid, Will!” She was getting frustrated at herself by forgetting how her car was not Kayden’s driveway because it was brought back to the hotel by someone on the day she almost got kidnapped. This left her stuck inside the house. If what Kayden said about him being a wolf along with his neighbors, or his ‘pack’ as he pertained to them, then she would not be able to run far.

“They’ll catch me if I do run.” Zayla was already pulling at her hair, feeling agitated at the predicament she is currently in.

“Zayla! Will, where are you?” Kayden’s deep voice was heard from outside getting closer. “I promise not to hurt you.” He added and started opening doors to different rooms and even cabinets.
